Rebecca Russell, a final-year PhD student and Associate Nutritionist at Curtin University, is making significant strides in the field of diet and multiple sclerosis (MS).

With a strong dedication to helping individuals with MS navigate the often conflicting dietary advice, Rebecca is developing a personalised online nutrition education program. Her expertise has been recognised through the publication of eight scientific articles and presentations at five national and international conferences.

Rebecca’s outstanding contributions have also been acknowledged through receiving three competitive scholarships and acquiring nearly $25,000 in research funding. As the Chief Investigator A for a project, she leads the way in advancing MS-related research. Furthermore, Rebecca actively mentors and supervises various students, fostering the growth of emerging talents in the field.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Rebecca actively engages with the MS community in Western Australia. Her commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond the confines of the laboratory, as she strives to provide valuable support and knowledge to those affected by MS. With her unwavering dedication and exceptional achievements, Rebecca Russell is a rising star in the field of nutrition and MS research.
